In the Backyard - The Mary Chapter of the Order of the Daughters of the King will offer A Service for the Loss of a Beloved Animal led by Rev. Lyndon Shakespeare. This service will be held once a year close to St. Francis’ Feast Day. Envelopes will be available for a free will offering given for the upkeep of the Prayer Garden. Please email here if you plan to attend. A raised bed has been constructed next to the Prayer Garden to receive the ashes of pets belonging to church members. The ashes will be mixed with soil and used for mulch for plants in the spring.
