Pledge Drive 2024!

Pledge Update, December 2: 72 pledges received (118 total last year)
Why is your pledge important? Read the letter from Sue Carter, Senior Warden, and the Vestry here

Please submit your pledge for our Annual Campaign: We are anticipating costs associated with calling a new priest. These costs include: preparing for the appropriate salary for that person and continuing our pledge to bring staff salaries up to promised levels. Our priorities will take a commitment from each of us. We know we are awaiting pledges from many parishioners. Please prioritize your pledge today. If you did not receive your pledge card in the mail, or you would like to ask for assistance with the logistics of making your pledge, please see the e-News, or email office@holycomforterchurch.net.

If you did not receive your pledge card in the mail, you can download one here, and then put it in the collection plate or mail it to the church at 1700 W. 10th Avenue, Broomfield, CO 80020.
You can also go online to Realm here to make your pledge electronically, and arrange to pay it as well.

As you look at the profile of Holy Comforter and think of what we are being called to be in this place, we ask that you make a prayerfully considered pledge.  Please submit your card or electronic pledge by December 1, 2024.

In the final installment of Holy Comforter’s stewardship series, Sister Act: The Habit of Giving, Molly Crispin and Katie Kramer spoke on Transformation, the “T” in the GIFT acronym. They explained how giving goes beyond changing circumstances to changing lives, including the lives of those who give. The Stanich Sisters shared personal stories illustrating how giving can lift barriers—whether financial, physical, or emotional—creating opportunities for relief, progress, and success.

Reflection Questions for this week:

  1. In what ways has my giving transformed me personally or impacted others?

  2. How can I approach my giving as a way to create change, not just in my own life, but in my community?

  3. What transformation do I hope to see through my giving, and how can I be part of that change?

Thank you for joining this journey through The Habit of Giving. Holy Comforter’s community looks forward to the transformations that each member’s gifts will bring in the coming year and beyond.
